.There is no doubt that people have demanded change and it must be delivered. While implementing the changes, let’s hope the leaders will not make any other blunders and force the country into yet another crisis. The CA results have clearly favoured the Maoists. NC and UML cannot blame anyone but themselves for their failure. It was their strategic and analytical failure to reckon with the Maoists as a democratic force. In less than two years, Nepali leaders were convinced that the Maoist guerrillas had made a U turn from the ‘Shining Path’ to the ‘Path of Nirvana’. Now monks have started to hear the philosophical rhetoric about Buddhism from Prachanda & Co. What a shame.

आज गुरुकुलमा कथा वाचन कार्यक्रम थियो । विशेष साहित्यमा रुची भएकोले दर्शक स्रोताको रुपमा मन्‍च अगाडि गएर अरु सँगै नारिएर म पनि बसें । नारी सम्बन्धी कथा वाचनमा नारीहरुको मात्र सहभागीता थियो । धेरै जना कथाकारहरुले आआफ्नो कथा वाचनगर्दै जाने क्रम भयो । कार्यक्रम सन्‍चालकले स्रोताहरुलाई बीचबीचमा सम्बोधन गरिरहिन् । कथा क्रान्तीकारी यर्थाथवादी आत्मकथा जस्ता लाग्ने विभिन्न थिए । स्वतन्त्र सृजनामा कथा बाचन गर्न पाइने त्यो कार्यक्रम अन्तिमतिर मोडिदै थियो । प्रायः कथाकारहरु ३० देखि ४५ सम्मका लाग्थे । तर अचानक एक वृद्ध आइमाई दुईजना महिलाको साहारामा आएर मन्‍च अगाडि उभिइन् । उनको उमेर ७०, ७५ को हुनसक्छ । ती वृद्धाले अनुहारमा पटक्कै नसुहाउने गरेर Sun Glass लगाएकी थिइन् । हेर्दा लाग्थ्यो उनको त्यो अवस्था बाहिरी आवरणको तालमेल कति पनि मेल खाएको छैन ।

रानीका कुटील मुस्कान कतै पोतिने छैन
युवराजका कामुक ठट्टाहरूको विवरण लेखिने छैन
युवराज्ञीको शिरमा दैवी शक्तीको ताज पहिर्‍याइने छैन
के के होला त त्यो किताबमा ?
